Alison Stich, Au.D., FAAA
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Alison Stich earned her doctorate in audiology from Salus University in Pennsylvania in 2012. She attended the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee for her undergraduate studies in communication sciences and disorders. Following her graduation, she returned to the Midwest to practice audiology. She has been serving the Chicagoland area since 2012, joining Hearing Lab in 2018. She also teaches in the Hearing Instrument Dispensary Program at the College of DuPage, training students to become hearing care professionals.
As a self-proclaimed “ear nerd,” Dr. Stich strives to stay on top of the newest technologies available to meet patient needs. Her background as a musician, and a tinnitus sufferer provide her a unique perspective on patient care. She believes that providing excellent patient-centered care is the key to helping her patients hear and communicate the best they possibly can. When she isn’t working or teaching, Dr. Stich enjoys gardening, crocheting, and spending time with her husband, dogs and cats..
Ashley Piltz
Patient Services Coordinator
Ashley Piltz is a Patient Care Coordinator. Ashley is originally from Wheeling, IL and moved to Cary IL in 2020. Ashley attended Harper College and started working at the Crystal Lake and Elgin locations in 2024. Ashley began working in the hearing industry in 2024 and was drawn to the profession because hearing well enhances our overall well-being through better mental health and increased ability to communicate in our daily life. What Ashley loves most about saving hearing lives is that it provides a sense of gratification being a part of a patients transformative hearing improvements, knowing that we are empowering patients to lead fulfilling and self-reliant lives. Ashley strives to do whatever it takes to completely embrace a positive and helpful spirit on the phone and in person in her everyday work with patients. Outside of saving hearing lives, Ashley loves being active and looking for any excuse to be outside!
